Body wall musculature primarily three layered (outer longitudinal, middle circular, inner longitudinal), sometimes with additional thin inner circular and/or outer oblique layers; dermis well developed and normally composed of fibrous connective tissues and gland cells; central nervous system situated between outer longitudinal and middle circular muscle layers.
