Description:
Body up to 1.5 cm long, 0.5 mm wide, white, translucent anteriorly but not in the tapering extensible posterior part. The head is not wider than the body, rounded at front but flattened when creeping. There is a slight constriction in mouth region. The short rhynchodaeum can usually be seen as a triangular shape at the tip of the head. The proboscis and rhynchocoel are half the length of the body.
Habitat:
In the surface of sublittoral muds, at depths from 8-100 m or more.
Distribution:
Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
